" Hi! I’m Tunisia Woods and I’m back again on behalf of Hello Beautiful Mobile Massage Therapy Group, for Expert Village. Now, what I want to talk to you about is closing a massage session. Yes, it’s easy to finish your last stroke and say okay thanks get up, but that’s not great for the client. A client needs to feel a closure, so I’m going to show you how to do it. Depending on what parts you started out on and what parts you finished out on, it is going to be different, but the essentials will be the same. You want to do compressions on the entire body. My client is lying face down, so I’m going to start her like this. But it’s a possibility that your client will be face up. Compressions, start them from the lower limbs up. Remember we want to go toward the heart. You want to compress up, just slow compressions. And then remember about tapotement. Tapotement is not for everyone, so make sure that you ask your client would they like tapotement and kind of explain to them what it is. If your client has to go back to work, they may need a little wake up session. You want to just go down the body, and remember you can use cups too. Then you want to brush it out, brush that negative energy out, brush all the stress out, and then you want to say thank you. Have your client take a deep breath, and you are finished with Swedish massage. "
