" Hi! I’m Tunisia Woods and I’m back again representing Hello Beautiful Mobile Massage Therapy Group on behalf of Expert Village. Now I want to show you guys how to perform a Swedish massage on the legs and the feet. I’m going to start with the legs. Now, you just want to undrape your client so that one part is exposed. We’re just going to expose the leg for right now. Grab some oil and then we’re going to effleurage. Remember, pushing strokes, gliding strokes, up the thigh. Remember, that we always want to push toward the heart. If sometimes you forget, that’s fine. A couple of stokes away from the heart won’t harm the client, but for the most part we always want to push toward the heart. We want to work around the knee. Kind of stretch those muscles out, because a lot of muscles are attached to the knee from the thigh and the leg. We can kind of scoop around. Have fun. You can roll, and then you just want to spread that out again with effleurage. You want to come down to the lower leg. Effleurage, effleurage. Then you want to start petrissaging. Remember, kneading, so you just want to act like you go that dough in your hands and your just kneading away. It’s feeling so great to the client, they’re sleeping, and then you want to come down. You want to come down, you want to go around that knee again, and then you want to kind of spread out. You can spread because that is effleurage, then you can knead the lower leg. Then you want to come to the feet. You want to grab some more oil, go around those ankles. That feels great. You can pull up and you can effleurage and get in between those toes because that feels good for someone who’s always standing up. You want to go and get in between all those—you feel all these little crinks and crunchies, that’s fine. You want to pull up and then sweep around and make sure you can get underneath the Achilles tendon. That’s how you do Swedish massage on a leg, and thigh and feet. Thank you!"
