"Hi! This is Tanya for Expert Village and here in the front of the body we have a few more muscle groups that we have to work on. For example here are your quads; your thigh muscles. You will feel them getting tight. You may not realize it until all of a sudden you get cramps, whether they are in your calf, or whether they are in your thigh; you can even get them in your gluteal area and this is something that your massage therapist will work on. And there is not too much detailed work. There is nothing really that is going to go in too deep usually. Usually it will be broad strokes. Also in your calves, do not worry, your massage therapist won't go directly over your bone because that can get sore; but there are muscles on the sides of your calves, you may not even think about it but there are a fair amount of muscles in your calf that can get sore and can cause foot pain and can cause knee pain. So if your massage therapist is working on this area do not be surprised or feel like you are getting gypped out of getting a back massage. Also we have your upper body muscles, we have in your arm, we have your deltoids which are up here and we have your triceps and your biceps. Now just understand that a lot of times your massage therapists will work on them as a group. So they may work on here as your biceps in this area and then they will just work on your triceps and your biceps altogether here. So they may work on your deltoid and then your biceps and your triceps. Just know that this is just a major muscle group that they will work on and if you like having one muscle group worked on more than the other let your massage therapist know this. If something feels really good let them know and they will be able to do more of it for you. Also when you are having shoulder pain, you are having back pain, know that your massage therapist will work on your pecs [pectorals]. If you feel uncomfortable about that just let them know but its nothing that’s going to be uncovering any part of your body that you will feel uncomfortable with. They usually will work on your pectoral muscles while they are sitting down and you are on your back. Your massage therapist will work on your pectoral muscles from this angle. So that way you do not have to worry about being undressed or uncomfortable. "
