"Hi! This is Tanya for Expert Village from Intuition Salon and Spa. The next thing that we are talking about major muscle groups that you should expect to have worked on. The first thing that most people complain about is back pain. Whether it is lower back pain or upper back pain. Your massage therapist will pull the sheet down and tuck it in around your hips. Now if you are having pain around your shoulder blades know that your massage therapist will work around your neck and down your lower back because there is a major muscle group that goes right along your spine. The massage therapist will be able to work all along it and be able to release a lot of the stuff between your shoulder blades and your neck and your lower back blade by doing that. Also when you have the lower back pain all of your lower back muscles attached to your pelvis and so that way with your pelvis if you loosen up your gluteus muscles, yes it is your, those being loosened up will loosen your pelvis up it will allow your lower back muscles to relax. So know that if you are having your lower back worked on chances are you will have your gluteus worked on and may be even your thigh muscles worked on. The next group of muscles would be your thigh muscles. These are your hamstrings. There are three major muscles that run along here and they are also attached to your pelvis. When you get strain in these muscles your massage therapist will probably work on your gluteus as well as the side of your hip. So know that they work here and also down here there is your soleus muscle which runs just below your gastrocnemius muscle, those are the two major muscles right underneath here on the back of your calf. These are some of the major muscle groups that you have worked on. "
