"Hi! This is Tanya for Expert Village Intuition Salon and Spa. The next thing that we are talking about are oils, lotions and creams. These are the things that your massage therapist will use on you while you are being worked on. The first thing that most massage therapists use is lotion. It is a hypo-allergenic, its unscented, it is for sensitive skin; this is what most massage therapists use. It will not stain your clothes, it is very easy to work with, it is specially made so the massage therapist has a good glide on your body. When they work on you they do not get stuck in your skin and it is not oily. This absorbs into your skin pretty well, that way you do not have to worry about it later on. The next thing that they have is oil. Massage oil is also specially made - usually it is grape seed oil or almond oil. There are different specialty oils that they use. So that your skin absorbs it, it is not greasy. Different massage therapists require different things. If you are super, super sensitive you may ask your massage therapist to use oil instead of massage lotion so that is the way you make sure that, you do not have to worry about getting any adverse reactions. The next thing that there is is massage cream, it can come unscented, it can come colorless, perfume less. This that I have right here and it is milk and honey and it is scented but it is not overly scented; you do not have to worry about it too much but your massage therapist will probably use one of these two on your entire body. And you can ask them if they do any kind of specialty treatments, like here in Intuition we do a foot treatment that you will see later on. But these are the two that they will primarily use on you: either the massage lotion, which is made specially for massaging and so your skin should not react adversely to it, and also the massage oil; and that is another thing that you do not have to worry about your skin.
