"Hi! This is Valda Sarty with Sarty Mountain Inc. on behalf of Expert Village. This step is applying the base coat, polish and top coat. Applying a base coat to nails prior to polishing is very important to keep the nail from staining and it will prolong the beautiful polish on the nail. The three stroke polish is the most professional and effective and I am choosing three strokes. One down the center and one to each side. Allow the base coat to dry before applying your color nail lacquer. Second, apply your nail polish in the three stroke method in the center and the side and down the side. Usually you will want to apply two coats of colored nail polish. And the last step is applying the top coat. This will help protect your nail polish. Clients should be reminded to apply a top coat every couple days until their next appointment. Stay tuned for our next segment on followed appointments for the client and home care tips. "
