"Hi, my name is Verdiana and we are with expertvillage.com. We are talking about how to wash your wig. We have previously mention the type of shampoo that we recommend to use. Also you have gotten you basin ready with the shampoo and it is nice and soapy. You want to put your wig in the water, you want to swish it. Don't pull on it, don't try to you know scrub it down, just put it in the basin, swish it around for a few minutes for about 3-5 minutes. Prior to doing that, you would probably want to take out the tangles and brush it out so when you wash it, it is not tangled. So you can put it in there and swish it around and get all the dirt and the grime out of that. Be very delicate with it because when the wig is wet it is very delicate. You don't want to pull out the hair and when it is wet that would happen the hair is more sensitive to falling out."

However, I do not have Wig Shampoo as it is a little costly at the moment. Is there something else I can use like fabric softener, or anything like a home-made concoction that will not harm the wig, but will wash it.
