"Hi I am Veronyka Bass of Veronyka's Color Salon and Day Spa and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to learn about hairstyles. I am going to blow dry the hair and I am not going to pull a lot at the beginning until the end just because she got the treatment today and it is just better for the hair. We are also going to flat iron the hair after we are done and that will be our final styling technique. She wants it smooth and sleek. For the different techniques usually the hair is the most weak when it is wet because it is like elastic so it is really flexible. This is the best way which is to dry it all the way without yanking it and pulling it and the only way to get it smooth is sometimes you have to take a round brush and pull it if it is extra curly. When it is medium texture like Angelina's you can blow dry it all the way and go back in and give it a big curl if she wants that or the smooth sleep look with the flat iron technique so it just depends on the result of what the client wants. If it is super curly, we have to smooth it out with the brush and then flat iron it to keep it a lot sleeker. She has good body in her hair so you can blow dry it and then go back in and flat iron it. "
