"In this segment we will talk about colors of metal. A lot of metals have different color. They can be alloyed to different colors. You can have platinum which is a natural, platinum can be alloyed to be made stronger but in this case you have a ring, this being a fancy ring but it represents green gold as the basic ring and then you have rose gold which uses copper for an alloy, using 24 karat gold in copper, then you have platinum set with pave diamonds that complete this ring. Here is a pure platinum and a iridium which iridium is used to strengthen platinum. Platinum by itself is fairly soft to make this ring that will hold a channel set. Here is a combination of palladium, another IUM group of the heavy metals mixed with 18 karat gold with these little screws over here made for a gent's ring. In this case we have a wedding band that utilizes 14 karat gold yellow outer bands with a white center band, in this case a religious type of motif around it for someone that is desirable of that particular motif. This mounting that we have has the bicolor or the two tone which the top normally for a white diamond is white and it is usually a platinum or a white gold. There are different degrees for that. There is white gold that uses nickel with 24 karat gold to make white. You can have it in 14 karat gold or 18 karat gold, or whatever the mix you want. Those two are standard. We can mix any grade of gold that you wish. Here is another blue stone that is set in 18 karat yellow gold to show you about the contrast. There are certain colors of stones that look better in different types of gold. An emerald looks better in a white gold, some particular region, yellow and green looks better it depends on what part of the United States you are from or any other country as far as that goes but it is a matter of choice and the choice is up to the customer as to how they want their ring to look. There are standards that are available in the cases but there are also folks that do designing that will create and make what you order or what you desire or will put something that is unusual together for you."
