"Hi, my name is Sonja Gjokaj, I am the owner of Gjokaj make up and I'm here with Expert Village to talk to you about make up for production. Now in this step I want to discuss foundations. And first of all I want to show you foundations that I highly recommend for TV or TV production in general. This is a spray foundation and what I like about it is that the finish is sort of satainy, too matte or it doesn't look to shiny or too greasy. This product I absolutely love, it is basically a foundation to powder it feels almost more like a powder but it doesn't look to dry or cakey and I really, really love this product. So I'm going to start actually with the spray and for this, you want to make sure that the hair is out of the face. You always want to make sure you shake really well. And then also if you are ever in a situation where you are doing make up in a setting where there are a lot of lights around, or even a camera, like in this case, you always want to make sure your spraying away from the camera, or your warn the rest of the crew that your going to spray or you step away, because it is such a fine misty spray that it might end up on the lens or the lights and we don't really want to do that. You close your eyes, you don't open them until I tell you. And you can just spritz lightly you don't have to, see it's very even and this is almost like a mini compressor, so this might look a little bit strange and blotchy but we will blend this in a few minutes. So now with either a synthetic brush or a sponge, you can start to blend the foundation into the skin. Always make sure you get the ear, cause they sometimes tend to be a little bit redder and especially if there is more light than usual like off and on sets the ears tend to look redder. The last step to really set the foundation on to the face and to make sure that it is not going anywhere, and it is staying put is a light dusting of a translucent powder, so you saturate your brush really well and you quickly dust that on especially on the t zone, which is the forehead, the bridge of the nose, nostril area, natural area and the chin area that is where most people tend to get most shiny. And it is a good idea to watch the talent closely, while they are on camera, should they get a little bit shiny right in this area, you can just step in and touch up."
