How to Cut & Measure Acrylic Nails

"Hello my name is Paul Dang with Nail World on behalf of Expert Village today we would cut the nails to the size, measure it and then prep it for acrylic application. Before you cut the nail you want to ask the client how long do they want it and after they decide the certain length you use a nail clipper. This is a special nail clipper it is not a dog clipper it is a nail clipper and you cut the tip to the length the customer wants likes. You want to hold the nail clipper at a angle with the tips as the tip is formed so don't hold it straight cause if you hold it straight you might indent the tips. After the desirable length is obtain you can start on the other hand. To start in the other hand you want to pretty much guess how much the other nails because by the tip size but make sure you give it a little extra longer. So there fore you have room to fix your mistake so there for you see the one on the right is a little longer therefore we can match them up measure them but the 2 cuticles and we just trim them. Measure them again, slightly a little bit more and that is it they are pretty much even and then you get to the part where you shape the nail. Just use a file, shape the nail to the desire shape. Okay and use the drill one more time, you want to make sure where the glue is we take off the glue so we are trying to get rid of the glue as much as possible that is a excess. Where we apply the acrylic and that is that. "
