"Hi, my name is Rachel Perilli Randolf and I'm here with Expert Village on how to choose a handbag. And right now I'm going to go more into depth on why handbags are so expensive. Mainly, handbags are more expensive because of the designer. That's basically the main thing. The designer has a lot to do with it because when the designer builds his name, the more expensive the handbags get. Way more expensive. That's why you see a lot of bags out there that are fake compared to real ones because a lot of people can't afford the real ones. The real ones can cost up to like $30,000. Another reason why they're really expensive is because some designers like to put diamonds on them and as we all know, diamonds are not cheap so when you put those on handbags you're talking about $50,000. Another reason why so many bags are so expensive out there is because the stitching. A lot of the more expensive bags are more durable, a lot more durable because the stitching is so close together and people have taken their time. They also may be hand made but most of all if you want an expensive bag, it's going to last you a long time and that's what really matters.
