"The next phase of any facial is going to be a toning application. These are bio-active floral waters that we use, mixed with highly purified distilled waters. This sets the pH balance of your skin so that it receives, this sets the pH balance of your skin so that it can receive the masking and moisturizing to come. Our particular bio-active floral waters are extracts of lavender, rose, or orange blossom. Lavender is particularly good for skin that has an oily content as it is an astringent (a natural astringent). So it removes a lot of the oil content and sets the pH balance more to neutral. Lavender is very calm and soothing, emotionally and mentally. Neroli is a very uplifting and bright aromatherapy scent. And rose, of course, is a very soothing, very nurturing, very relaxing scent. "
