This sets the pH balance of your skin so that it receives, this sets the pH balance of your skin so that it can receive the masking and moisturizing to come. Our particular bio-active floral waters are extracts of lavender, rose, or orange blossom. Lavender is particularly good for skin that has an oily content as it is an astringent (a natural astringent). So it removes a lot of the oil content and sets the pH balance more to neutral. For older, more mature skin, the rose water is particularly good. And then for combination skin, we have neroli, or orange blossom. Again, all of our products start with a plant, a pure plant essence. The aromatherapy qualities assigned to healing qualities of plants are well documented. Lavender is very calm and soothing, emotionally and mentally. Neroli is a very uplifting and bright aromatherapy scent. And rose, of course, is a very soothing, very nurturing, very relaxing scent.
