"This is insect spray. Here we are again at the height of the summer season with a lot of mosquitoes and bug bites. This is chock-full of chemicals; very, very toxic chemicals. And indeed, anything on the label that says "do not ingest, do not eat it, do not drink it;" why do you want to put it on your skin? It's going to end up in the same place absorbing through your pores as if you were to drink it. [You know this reminds me, also with toothpaste, they have the poison control warning.] Exactly, so think about this. Just be aware, and know that if they don't want you to swallow it, then you shouldn't be putting it on your skin. I would recommend citronella. It's an incredible insect repellent and it's natural, and it's not going to kill you. We have a hair color. This is a touch-up stick, and almost all major hair colors have ammonia in them and that's what you smell when you put it on your hair. It's a very toxic chemical that will absorb into your skin. They are showing that a lot of women who dye or color their hair with ammonia over the years have a higher (slightly higher) rate of bladder cancer. So, again, you can buy natural henna color. And the Egyptians used henna thousands of years ago and it's a beautiful, natural hair color that is long-wearing and non-toxic. [So, it's good enough for Cleopatra, it's good enough for us, right?] Exactly. "
