" Hi! My name is Rick Wyckoff and you can check out our website at avatart2.com. I am here on behalf of expertvillage.com, talking about tips and tricks for getting tattoos. One of the things that is common now days at most tattoo shops is you walk into the shop and there is usually design sheets all over the walls where you select design and have it put on you as opposed to some other custom shops where it is exclusively art work by the artists that work there. Most of the time these design sheets that you see on the walls aren't produced by the people that work there. The people that work there don't usually do art as they are not really artists. They don't do art work outside of tattooing and basically they are replicating something on your skin that somebody else drew that might not even know anything about tattooing. This is some artwork that I produced for a back piece that is going on a woman. You can see that it has sort of a female figure with some flowers inside of it. This part right here basically the negative space is filled in on the interior of the design it sort of makes them like wings, almost like fantasy butterfly, dragon fly wings and on the interior of it, there are flowers, floral designs. This is also a back piece that I designed for somebody; another negative space design. I think having designs that correspond to the person's anatomy or inner interact well with the person's anatomy is very important as opposed to tattoos that look like stickers. The more contemporary style of tattooing usually involved little bits and pieces that are hard to distinguish all over the person. Whereas like in medieval of Japan for instance, that style of tattooing usually directly corresponds to the person's anatomy. "
