"When using the hard wax, that's what this is called; hard wax, no strips; you want to make sure you get a large amount on the stick. Not running off therefore it's not too hot, put it on in the direction the hair grows, using the small craft stick, making sure your eyes are closed. So I've got a large area, this wax goes on quite a bit thicker than any other wax that you've ever used. If you're not used to this hard wax or strip free wax, some people call it, it goes on pretty thick. It kind of looks like in between butter and peanut butter. If you can touch it and your finger sticks to it, then it's not ready to be removed. You want to make sure that you can touch it, press your finger to it and that your finger doesn't stick. That's when it's ready to be removed. You want to make sure that it's been on there thick enough, long enough. If it stays on too long, you can't remove it, it actually breaks apart because it dries that hard. So grab the outside edge, again we're going to remove it against the hair growth, pull it off in one nice strip and the hair has been removed and that's how you apply, that's how you work with hard wax, strip free.
