"Now that I have rinsed Myra's hair out, we're going to follow it with, we shampooed it, we're going to follow it with a color care conditioner. The color care conditioner will sometimes comes with your hair color kit, if it does not, then you want to purchase a conditioner for color treated hair. This is something that you will use for the life of your color treated hair. Makes the hair color last longer and don't be afraid to add plenty at this point and time; your hair is pretty dry and pretty vulnerable, its just been colored. We're going to get that all the way through her hair. Use your wide tooth comb; comb that all the way through. See I've got a good amount of conditioner in her hair, you can see that. Once you've got that all the way combed through, then you want to rinse that with again a warm water. Nothing too cold, nothing too hot. We need to restore the integrity of her hair, so everything I use has been for color treated hair. If you've noticed there's no staining of her skin around her scalp, around her hairline. No gray, we've covered all the gray, that was our goal and her hair is nice and soft. That's how you condition hair after you have color treated it. Make sure you use the conditioner for color treated hair."
