"So now you've properly prepared your skin for your spray tan. The most important step at this point is to make sure you wait the eight to ten hours. It's almost like a curing process that allows your skin to absorb all the moisturizer that we've put on it and, kind of, return to its natural state and allow the spray tan to absorb properly. The active ingredient is a DHA and it has a brownish, sugar activate, it activates in your skin and allows the brown to show up like a tan. So with the active ingredient it cannot counteract with any of the process that we've done prior to this point. That's the eight to ten hour waiting process. Now your spray tan is going to last seven to ten days if you do this properly. If you don't go through the steps properly, your spray tan is not going to last as long, it's not going to look as well, you're going to have streaking and splotting. So that's why the process has to be done in a particular order and a particular time of your skin curing so the moisturizer can absorb properly. So your tan essentially looks the best it possibly can. So make sure you wait the eight to ten hours after preparing and prior to spraying."
