"Once the 10 minute processing time has achieved you will rinse the protein based conditioner out. Again you just want to use warm water. You don't want to use too cool a water or too hot a water. If your water's too hot you're going to just wash all the protein out and what you were trying to achieve you're going to lose. If the water's too cold it's going to leave too much of the conditioner in the hair. So just a body temperature warm water. No shampooing necessary at this time. The protein conditioner's pretty thick so it's hard to rinse out so you want to make sure you rinse longer than normal. Use your fingers to comb through the hair. No scrubbing necessary. Just rinse, rinse, rinse. Once you don't feel the conditioner anymore which is kind of a slimy feel. Once that feeling is gone? You can actually feel the hair's clean? And you don't see anything else coming out of the hair? Then you've completed the rinsing process. That's how you get the conditioner out of the hair."
