"The next thing I want to do is towel dry her hair. We're going to squeeze any excess moisture out of her hair to allow the conditioner to absorb. The water acts like a filler and doesn't allow the conditioner to absorb into the hair. So I want to squeeze any excess moisture out. Just in a squeezing motion. Just continue to just kind of go through the hair. Squeeze the moisture out. Make sure it's not dripping wet. Continue to do the same motion until the hair feels like you've got a lot of the moisture out of the hair. Lightly go through with your large tooth comb. And then the hair's ready to put your conditioner on. I see it's still a little bit too wet so we're going to continue to do the towel dry motion. Now the hair's ready to absorb maximum moisture. There we go. And that's how you're going to towel dry it so now it's dry enough for conditioner."
