"When you're in the store trying to decide what color to use, trying to decide how much processing time you have, what color you're trying to achieve, I recommend opening the boxes and getting out the directions. Here's a for instance. This particular process is a ten minute process. It has an activator in it that makes, speeds up the process so the color will develop faster. Usually when you're lightening hair, it's a longer process than depositing color, hence darkening your hair. So you make sure you read the directions thoroughly. And it clearly states in here ten minutes. There's also a place for you to write down your desired time for, for the next time you color your hair. Here's a process where it's a thirty minute. And it states on the directions total time, thirty minutes. Do not try to shorten your processing time. Read your directions thoroughly, use the conditioner that they offer you, make sure you, it shows you after ten minutes to color it, pull it all the way through the ends of your hair, if you're coloring your hair all over versus just coloring your re-growth. Again, I totally recommend reading your directions before you get started. There's gloves. Every kit comes with gloves. Make sure you use your gloves or you're going to have color on your hands. Follow the directions to the tee, and you shouldn't have any problems."
