"In deciding whether you want to lighten your hair or not, you have to decide how light do you want your hair? That's the biggest choice you're going to make. By using a cap, where you put this over your head and pull through the holes, you can actually control how light you want your hair is going to develop to. And that's probably the best process if you want your hair a very platinum blond. Again, we talked about the highlighting. The powder mix is closest to a salon process, but if you paint it on, you're not going, you're not going to achieve the lightest blond that you want to achieve. So if you're just lightening your hair one or two, one or two colors, then this will probably be a good process for you. When you're doing an allover lightener, when you're developing from something that you've purchased from the beauty supply store, you have to make sure that you get the highest level of blond that you can get, in order to achieve the level of blond that you want. Right here shows you a chart. This is a very good chart that shows you if you're any of the brown stages and you want to end up any of the blond stages, you have to, this is the level of lift, what we call lift. Your hair will lift these different stages of blond. In order to achieve the lightest, you have to use what we call a high lift, will lift up to four levels of color. When you choose your process, make sure it says on your box, for the lightest blond that you want to achieve."
