"Hi, I’m Scott from Total Eclipse Design downtown Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and we’re here on behalf of Expert Village we’ll be discussing male grooming today. In this clip we’re going to talk about beard trimming. What we’re going to do today is with male grooming you want to take a look at the face and you want to bring the hair that’s up underneath. The first thing we’re going to do is take a beard trimmer and I’m going to use it in a setting number two. You can get these at any local store and we’re going to let the guard do all the work. We run that beard trimmer up through the bottom and as you’re doing this you want to work from the bottom up, we’re actually creating a little bit of a ledge beard that we’re going to trim later cause all this hair underneath will be cleaned by the time we’re done. We’re going to adjust our head down and we’re going to go straight up following that line that we have just created, I’m going to follow that straight up. If you get clogged, you’ll get an even cut if you open your guard and then clean the hair out and then reattach and then begin the same process again. Now that we’ve trimmed and shaped our beard we’re going to take our trimmers, we’re going to go from the jaw line and we’re going to run our trimmers straight down, we’re going to follow that jaw line to clean that right up all that hair. So it’s almost like even though you have a beard you’re actually shaving the neck with the trimmers and that will give you your clean line of your beard trim. In our final step of the beard trim, what we’re going to do is we’re going to use our trimmers once again and bring it down to shape with the face right around to bring those cheeks out right up to the corner of where the mustache lies. That’s how you would trim a beard."

Thanks for posting these videos. I started to grow my first goatee (age 51) about three months ago and found these vidoes very useful. Come to find out, I was using my adjustable trimmer wrong. Am I right, you go up the chin instead of downward? Can you use an adjustable trimmer for the tache instead of using a comb and trimmer? Thanks,
