Make a List: Tips & Techniques for Using Personal Shoppers

" Hi! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of expertvillage.com, today we are discussing some tips and techniques for using a personal shopper. Now, when using a personal shopper, for a moment lets discuss making a list. I know it sounds easy, but a lot of people forget to make a list. They sort of rhyme off some of things that they need, but they do not compile their thoughts. And we talked earlier about making a dossier, and that is for yourself, body measurements, charts in that, sometimes it is also a good idea to provide a dossier for family members, especially if you are doing some gift giving at Christmas time, birthdays, anniversaries, a lot of husbands like to use a personal shopper shopping for their wives; guys are not that great sometimes shopping for their wives. So, personal shoppers come in very handy, very handy indeed, but making a list, it is always good not only to provide the body measurements for the person that you are buying for, but when compiling that list, that is going to help you with some of our earlier segments like budgeting and figuring out exactly what it is you want. By providing a list to your personal shopper, you are going to give that person a clear idea of what it is that you expect from them, so that they can meet all of your requirements and exceed them. "
