"The next step on our ironing adventure is our board. Now you know putting it out is pretty self explanatory. Put the legs down, make sure it's locked and make sure that it's sturdy, but something that I think we don't think about is our board cover. It's really, really important to have a clean board cover so I always wash and dry mine frequently, but I don't let it dry until it's all the way dry. I actually take it out of the dryer while it's still a little wet. Why do I do this? I do this because it will help me mold and shape my, my pad to the board so I won't have any creases. Creases won't get on my clothes when I'm ironing. So, let's go ahead and slip the cover over like so. Ok, I'm flattening it out, making sure that there are no creases. And every iron and every ironing board, and you know is different. Mine happens to have little Velcro underneath here that I can also help keep it secure. Like here. Okay. So there it is. Make sure my ends are down, pull out my reservoir there, make sure it's flat and snug. You want it to be clean because you know sometimes husband could have had his pizza on here and got a big stain. There's nothing worse than deciding, "I'm going to iron today" and then have a big mess. So we have accomplished this, let's go on and get ironing."
