"Today we're going to be ironing yeah, wooo. Ok maybe it's not that exciting. But what is exciting is having a really good iron. I'm going to go over a little bit about your care for your iron, setting up your iron now. Ok so, what I do is I always make sure that everything on here is clean first of all. They're a little air sockets here that sometimes get, get filled with gunk and things like that. So what you want to do is you want to get a q-tip and clean these areas right there. That way this stuff won't end up on your clothes. So that's a little trick right there. And why you want to do this is, it's going to ultimately save you time when you are ironing. And everybody wants to save time right when they're ironing. So go ahead and do that, don't put it in your ear just throw it away. So surface of my iron is really shiny and clean. That's important. If other things were on there you can just take a rag and wipe it off, you know if there were other crusties around there. Ok , so that's important. Then I'm going to show you the controls to the iron. Now yes irons do have controls, this is especially for you guys out there. I know you have a lot of controls on things like your cameras, and your video cameras, and your x boxes, same thing here. Isn't that exciting. So what we have is an off button and you know every time you're not ironing you should have it in the off position. But we go up to silk, perma press, wool, cottons and linens. And you are probably wondering why do I need that, I mean isn't ironing just ironing and get something hot and put it on. But it's really important to check when you are doing your clothes and to make sure it's on the right control. Because things like silks are very delicate and you don't want to burn them. And the next thing I'm going to show you is putting some water in your iron. Now some irons take distilled water. This one doesn't so go ahead and read to make sure that if you need distilled or not. And so this one doesn't so I'm just going to add a little bit in your reservoir. Now I don't fill it all the way. Some people do but I don't because well I don't want it like spilling over it. That could happen and that doesn't look good. So once you put your water in it's going to create steam once it gets warm and steam is your friend. Steam gets lots of wrinkles out. So it's really important to remember to fill your iron. Just check it. You can check it right here on the gage of the reservoir and make sure that it's full. And then you're going to have it plugged in of course and when you're plugged in you'll see that it will start creating steam. Now that we have our iron, it's clean, we're acquainted with the controls and it's full of water we are going to start ironing. So let's get to it."
