"Hi, I'm Michelle Renee with the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group and on behalf of Expert Village I'm gonna demonstrate makeup for Winter. I'm gonna go ahead and apply the foundation. Now for Winter I want a little bit more coverage. So I'm gonna use a thicker fuller coverage foundation for Leslie. The thicker coverage helps protect the skin from the environment. I'm gonna use a foundation brush, but there are many ways you could apply foundation. With your hands, just make sure that they're clean. With a sponge or with a brush. I personally like to use a brush because I like the smooth texture it gives to the skin. Now when applying foundation I put a little bit on the forehead, a little bit on the chin and dot it in the cheeks and I put a little bit on the nose. By placing the color evenly on the face that allows a smooth even distribution of foundation. We'll go in and use long strokes on Leslie's face. Make sure that we blend it in to the hair line because it's a thicker foundation. You don't want it to look cakey or uneven or see where the foundation ends or starts. It's giving Leslie a great coverage especially for the Winter. When you get down to the jaw line you could even extend the color beyond cross the neck to make it look smooth and even. Don't forget the nose and the corner of the nose. When you get to the chin you could extend the foundation beyond the jaw line. Remember we want your foundation just to look like your skin. So it's blended into the hair line and beyond the jaw line is a fuller coverage so the foundation looks flawless. "
