"Hi, I'm Michelle Renee from the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group here in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village we're gonna show you how to apply makeup on women of color. I'd like to go over just one more time SPF especially for women of color. Often times women of color think that they do not need SPF, Sun Protection Factor. This is a common misconception, the sun's rays does not discriminate and it is important for every women of color from light dark to the darkest of dark to use SPF Sun Protection Factor. Women who have darker skin do have more melonan in their skin so it does prevent the UVA UVV rate to age them. However, this also causes them to get dark spots in their skin. SPF will prevent these dark spots and also protect against aging. I recommend an SPF of at least 15. I would place it around the skin, right before your moisturizer wait about 30 seconds for the SPF to be observed in the skin. If you are going out in the sun, I would reapply it every 2 hours. So once again even though you are a woman of color you still need to use SPF."
