"Hi, I'm Michelle Renee here in Tampa, Florida with the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to demonstrate makeup for Summer. We're on our twelfth step right now and that's lips. So, for lips what I like to do is start with a light foundation over the lips. This just helps the gloss stay on longer. For Summer I like to do something sheer, fun, light. So, this is my favorite time of the season to do gloss. So I'm gonna go ahead and get a little bit of foundation, apply it with my fingers, sponge, or a brush. Leslie has beautiful lips so I won't have to line outside the lips. But if you have a smaller upper or lower lid, it's a good idea to slightly line outside of your lip line. Not too much because it won't look natural. But just right above the natural line of your lips. But for now we're gonna go ahead and use a natural lip line to line the lips. I'm gonna use a neutral color and I'm gonna start with the bottom our liner. Next I'm just going to place a sheer gloss over the lips. Now when choosing a color for the lips I like to go with the same shade as the blush. So if we're gonna use a peach I want to bring the peach down to the lips and use peach on the lips. Just so you have a flow of the bottom face. If we're gonna do something brown or bronze I want to use a brown or maybe a pink tone on the lips. So right now we've got foundation on we've got the liner. I'm gonna put my peach color of gloss on and I'm going to slightly blend. Remember blending is important in everything you put on the face so it looks natural and soft. Slightly blend in the liner into the color, so you don't see the a harsh line. I love gloss especially if you have smaller lips. Gloss provides a sheen and makes smaller lips, draws more attention to smaller lips and makes them look bigger. So, we've placed foundation then we did the liner then we went in and put gloss. For Summer we want something sheer and gloss. Blended it in with the liner so you don't see a harsh line. And made sure that the blush and the lips color were complimentary. And were fighting for attention. Looks fluid right in there. And that's for lips. "
