"Hi, I'm Michelle Renee here in Tampa, Florida with the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to demonstrate makeup for Summer. Right now we have a clean pallet to work on. We're ready for our color. The first thing I like to do when applying color is your cheeks. That's a personal starting point for me. What you want to do with your cheeks, how you apply it. "Go ahead and smile for me." You want to look at the apex or the apple of the cheeks go from here on up in circular motions. Now, before actually putting any powder cheek powder on her cheeks I want to give you a little hint especially for Summer. In the Summer a lot of my clients color seems to have melt off. If you first get a cream blush with a little bit of color and place it, "smile again," at the apple of the cheeks on up. I like to use a pink or a peach. This is gonna layer on the color and help it last longer. When you're outside, running your errands, in the heat. It just gives you a little bit of hint of color. So, we put our cream, cream blush on. We have a cream blush on right now and then I'm gonna lightly apply the powder. Remember smiling at the apex, apple of the cheeks, circular motions on up. It's always a good idea to tap your brush after you've dipped it in color, just to get the excess color off. "Go ahead and smile again, beautiful." Apple of the cheeks I will color, perfect. Looks like you're naturally blushing. "
