" Hi! This is Moira of Beauty By Moira here on behalf of expertvillage.com. We’re going to the next part, which is buffing the nail. Not everybody needs their nails buffed, but you could. I was taught in school that a little buffing can help the nail polish stay on longer or perhaps this person has ridges. Amy has a few little ridges so you’re not going to buff so much that so are going to thin out the nailbed. You’re just buffing a little just to smooth out the ridges. Just like that, little buffing. There is also a thing called ridge filler. That helps before you put on your polish that you put this polish on it, it fills in the ridges. There are a variety of things that you can do. There is also a smoother buffer. I will just smooth it out little. That one was a little coarser. This one is a little smoother. When we finally do put on the polish, it’ll give it a much smoother finish than having lines running through it, right. They look better already."
