"Hi! I'm Molly Herring with Expert Village. We're here telling you how to wash your jeans. Next we're going to be discussing how to care for new jeans. If you just bought a new pair of jeans and you're wondering how to care for them, it's always a good bet to look on the tag itself. Generally, they give you a few tips on how to care for that particular type of jean. As a general rule, if you have a dark wash of jean, you want to wash it separately by itself for the first couple of loads. Because of the dark jean, it does tend to bleed out a little bit of that dye in there. Also, if you have a shrink to fit jean, you're going to want to wash that on its own too. Wash it as many times as you need to get it to your size. That covers your basics on caring for new jeans. In the next segment, we're going to talk about to to care for your work jeans."
