"Hi! I'm Molly Herring with Expert Village. We're here to show you how to wash your jeans. Right now we're going to talk about the different types of detergents when washing your jeans. We have a liquid detergent or powder, but the thing to think about is what temperature of water you're going to wash your jeans on. Now, because the powder detergent doesn't like to melt in cold water, you'd like to use at least a warm setting if you're washing your jeans with a powder detergent. I don't know if you've come across taking out your jeans. You pull them out and there's white streaks all up and down. That's because the powder detergent isn't allowed to melt with the cold water. If you want to wash your jeans in cold, liquid detergent is the one to use because you're not going to have to worry about that kind of build up on your jeans. That wraps up this segment on detergent. In the next segment, we're going to discuss separating your jeans into various types of loads."
