"I’d like to speak to you a little bit about different types of henna designs. Henna being the art form that it is has take place all over the known world and there are many designs and customs associated with it based upon the region in which it was done. I have a few design books here as well as some designs I got from various other sources. Here are some Arabic henna designs, as you can see they are kind of florally. You see a lot of flowers in them. That’s very typical of Arabic henna. Some of them have more fill in and some of them have less. Just small little accents here, a little what looks like a six with some dots around it. But a lot of floral applications. Hearts and, this is actually modern Arabic if you went, if we were to go back in time somewhat we wouldn’t see elements like this. But this is a little bit modernized because this seems to be what’s trendy at the moment and everyone wants to do what sells. This is sometimes called paisley and other times it’s called a mango. And actually this is more of an Indian design element because mango is their national fruit but it’s incorporated everywhere. Lots of floral designs there. "
