"One thing about getting dreadlocks and this something to consider when you are deciding whether or not you want them is that you're/they're probably going to attract a little attention from people, especially people who are not used to seeing alternative people with alternative lifestyles and people different. People who aren't kind of cookie cutter and main stream. You are going to get some comments and you just need to realize that people are just curious they want to know because a lot of time they don't know anything about them. They have just seen people. So if someone comes up to you, just be polite, tell them if they ask about - I've had got a lot of questions like "is that your real hair?" "how do you do that?" Any varieties, things like if you they ask if you can brush them out, which is no you can't brush them out. It could be anything or they could compliment them. I have actually never have gotten any negative comments about my hair. I have only gotten compliments about it so that is pretty cool, but it's all about informing people and it could be fun to share with other people, and give them a little bit of information to go away with. So don't be alarmed by people's curiosity because human beings are curious animals. They just want to know. They are not trying to attack you or anything. If somebody happens to say something negative, you got to roll with the punches. Just brush them off. They may had a bad day or something. So be nice if you want to be a ambassador for dreadlocks everywhere."
