How to Iron Slacks Seams

"Hi, I'm Marti. On behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm going to share with you today how to iron a pair of slacks. Ironing is not the chore that our grandmother talk about the technology and the fabrics they are just a lot easier to work with. Here I am at the zipper so I'm going to come off this again, use my fingers to have the fabric lay down and I'm only ironing up into that seam point. Now our waistband is going to cool and we're going to start on our pockets. Notice the direction that the seam runs here, it's falling this way, here it's falling towards me. What I want to do is iron it to where it falls the same direction all the way down. I'm going to start up here on my seam."
