How to Iron the Waist Band of Slacks

"Hi, I'm Marti. On behalf of expertvillage.com I'm going to share with you today how to iron a pair of slacks. We're going to gently glide the center of my iron in the center of the piece item I'm ironing. In this case the waistband so you see how that lays down nice now. Once this cools it will help to set that in place go ahead and bring on your next piece. As we are going around this waistband it's art but the grain of this fabric is actually straight so I'm going to put that in position that the grains runs. Again take the nose of my iron center it in my section and gently pull taunt with the other hand to make sure that my grain lines stays appropriate and straight. Simple and quick."
