However today technology has kept up with us ladies. Some irons can require tap water. I have two separate irons here; this one requires distilled water, this one requires tap water. Make sure you know which type of iron you have and what it requires. This is a great tool safety item as well this is a silicon iron pad you can find that at craft stores, fabric stores, it's wonderful. It allows me to put my iron face down so I don't have to worry about it getting knocked off on the floor."
