"Hi, I'm Marty on behalf of expertvillage.com. I'm here to help you learn how to iron a tie. Place it on top of the tie in this situation I'm just going to take a little bit of water just plain water in a spritzer. Mist it on my towel and I'm going to lightly press down with a medium high heat. I'm going to take my iron it's set on silk and lightly go and glide the length of the tie. You don't have to apply to much pressure to this just a nice easy glide should work. Once you made your initial pass on your tie bring it up and check to see how you are doing and bring down another length to your tie."
