"Hi, my name is Mary Thinnes and I am a skincare expert. I am going to discuss the guidelines for time on chemical peels -- how often one should get one depending on what condition they have on their skin and what type of skin they have. For instance, acneic skin generally should be getting a chemical peel every two weeks. They need one more often that most skin types because they have an aggravated condition going on that they are trying to get rid of. Acneic skin is one of the hardest conditions to treat. For hyper-pigmentation is usually every 3 weeks and that hyper-pigmentation is also hard to treat, but you want to be consistent with every 3 weeks, along with lightening creams at home and those two in conjunction will help get rid of the hyper-pigmentation. For mature, aging skin, every 4-6 weeks is the general guideline. Just for anti-aging purposes, people want to keep their skin looking good and they don't have any conditions going on, they just want to keep their face tight, light and bright -- generally speaking, every 5 weeks would be okay for that. That is a summary of the timing for chemical peels based on skin type."
