"Hi, my name is Mary Thinnes and I'm a skin care expert. I'm going to discuss with you now chemical peels that are appropriate for hyper pigmentation. The first peel that I'm going to discuss is the glycolic. I've already cleansed the skin and now I prepped it with the papaya and rinsed it off. Now I'm going to go ahead and apply the chemicals. Right here she has a little bit of an area of hyper pigmentation as you can see with the little tiny brown spots. So our primary goal is to lighten those and glycolic will help with that, but in conjunction I would recommend using your pigment gel for your at home care in conjunction with chemical peels for hyper pigmentation. "Cause the two in conjunction with each other are going to actually help to get rid of that condition. So basically I'm going to apply the chemical. And you can either apply it with your finger tips since you have gloved hands on or you can use q-tips. And you're just going to apply the chemicals and in the majority of lines glycolic can only stay on for two minutes. In the line that I'm using right now, you can leave this one on up to ten minutes. As long as you can tolerate the ten minutes. Glycolic becomes a little itchy and burning and some people can't tolerate that for longer than seven minutes. So that is the segment on chemical peels for hyper pigmentation."
