Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Megan with Elements University on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to be showing you how to buff the nails properly. You'll want to use a buffer that's about a 220 grit warm wore, you don't want anything too rough which can damage the nails. You'll take your buffer and take from the very top of the nail and slide down. You want to work with the grain of the nail, not going back and forth. You want to work from the top of the nail down with the grain of the nail. You don't want to buff back and forth because that can buff too much and it can give the client sensitively on their nail bed. Lightly brush the nail until any ridges that are there are gone. Don't over buff! Be sure to watch the next segment on pushing back on the cuticles."
