"Hi, I'm Melina and welcome to Expert Village. In this next step, we're going to sew on our patches. So we're going to take our skirt and we're going to flip it inside out and you can see how beautiful your insert came out. See if you need to make any adjustments and then we're going to go to our patches, and we're going to take the sewing matching, and we're going to put it on zigzag setting. Be careful that you're not sewing both sides of your skirt; make sure you've got one side. You're going to sew around the outer edges of your patch. And if you want you can change the color of the thread. If you want to add some of these colors. I'm going to do brown because I like the way the brown looks on the brown. I like the darker brown thread on the light brown, but you could use any of your matching colors to go around the patches. But since my patches are already colorful enough, I'm not going to add extra. Hopefully you didn't pick really complicated shapes. And when you get to the end of your patch, you want to go backward at least once to secure the stitches."
