"Hi my name is Melisa Brown; you can find me on my web page at youneedamassage.us. Talking about deep tissue massage, I’m using both of my forearms, putting them together in the middle of the back and I’m leaning across on the opposite side, I’m not going to be pressing on any bone, I’m not going to be putting bone on bone for anything. My hands are together and all I’m doing is leaning in, pressing down and opening up my forearms, okay. This is a great way to warm up the tissue before you go in with any other deeper moves. There are a lot of tools that we can be using and you can find these tools on any type of massage links that you can find on the internet, but you do it very slowly. The faster you go, the lighter it’s going to feel, but if you go slowly, you’re going to feel that tissue and we’re opening up the fascia. Okay and we do this on both sides; I’m keeping my back straight because we want to keep those proper body mechanics at all times and this is going to be like the opening to any type of other movement that we’re going to be doing or any other techniques that we’re going to be using on the deep tissue. We want to warm up the tissue before and go slow. You can do this all throughout the back; you can do this throughout the whole body too. See you in the next segment. "
