"I am now going to go ahead and style this hair and some curls by using gel. If you do not want to blow, when you are in a hurry in the morning then you might want to gel the hair, okay, giving the curls some kind of formation. Pushing this back like this, I am leaving the hair kind of curly, because it is just going to give you some kind of curls here. And this is going to just lay flat down. You can comb it down, so you do not have any curls back here, if you want a curly hair. If you want you can ruffle it up, okay that’s alright. And there is other kind of pomades that you can use besides gel. You can use a wax type of substance, that leave the curls formed a little bit more when the hair is drier. Actually what we are going to do now is blow dry the hair and show you what it can look like blow dried. Adding a little gel is okay, you can add gel to the hair, but I am going to blow dry the hair and show you how it is going to look. When I blow dry it out, I am going to just toss up Paul’s hair like this, just getting some of that water out completely, and then I am going to proceed to show you how to blow dry because it is so curly. You want to take a brush that has some holes like this, so that air can filter through and as I am grabbing it to blow dry I am just going to show you that I am just going to take it round and round and take it like this round and let the drier lay on here with this on, so I can put it directly on the hair and I can actually dry the hair. Let’s take it this way, this is the finished cut to our basic layered haircut. His hair was long shoulder length and this is what it looks like after it is blow dried straight. You can wear this curly or you can even style this a little bit closer with some gel and some hairspray and run your fingers through it and if you want. This a little shorter, you can also do so and it could be a layered cut. This is Liz Muller from Lizzie’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I would like to thank you. "

on 8/2/2008 My wife reviewed this video then cut my hair. Following Liz's instructions I received one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. I would like to see more though on how to clean up and blend in the neck area. 5 well deserved stars for Liz
