"Hi! This is Liz Muller from Liz’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida. As you see we were doing the sides of Paul’s head and I am going to proceed to show you how you would layer that. So you take that hair and you take it in an angle, measuring from the back piece that is short to the front. And as you see you can see a line right there, okay, and you take it down and up like that. You want to make it a little shorter going down, you just bring the scissors at an angle like that. I am going to take another piece and show you, measuring it with the other piece in the back, so it is even; take it and go like that bringing the scissors this way, okay, like that. If you want that gives you that layered look; see that is the layered cut right there, a basic layered cut and you can do also comb with scissors and take it out like that. "
