Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Liz Muller from Liz’s Hair Design and now I am going to proceed to show you a wet wrap. I am going to wrap Nicky’s hair to get the same look you saw before with a blow dryer and a hair dryer; but it comes a little bit straighter with a wet wrap. And what we do with a wet wrap is we wrap it all the way around the hair, we wrap it all the way around. I am going to use a solution in the hair, that is a setting lotion, okay. You can use a foamy kind of setting lotion or you can use a liquidy one, like this. So I am going to apply it all over your hair like that, okay, leaving it in to her hair to set the hair. I am going to proceed to divide the hair to make it easy for me to rub around her head. Dividing it like this half from ear lobe to ear lobe or from ear to ear, all the way straight down like that, separating it like this and wrapping the hair around the head. You are wrapping it nice and neatly, making sure you do not have any kind of lump or bump in the hair. You want to take that comb in; you want to wrap it like this all the way straight around. Wrapping it, the hair gets tangled now because your hair is relaxed; and you do not want to break the hair off; you want to take your time with the hair to wrap it around the head."
