French Braids - Part 3: Hair Styling Techniques for Women

"We are finishing up this French braid, and as you see, I am bringing it all the way down as a regular braid, and I am going to go ahead and put a tie on the bottom of the hair, so it does not become loose. What I am going to do with Fara Lee, though, is I am going to tuck in her French braid, and that is because her braid is not really long; but you can keep it down long or you can tuck it in like this. And what I do by tucking in, I just simply tucked it in, and I use a couple of pins and I pin in the French braid. I am going out pinning it nicely; and make sure the pins aren’t showing, make sure you can cover everything up. If you have any loose hair, what’s good about this right here is, sometimes the hair is a little bumpy, you have a few pieces that are loosened there, and you want to take your pin and you want to hide that. If it is a little bump here, and you want to go ahead and take that pin and push it in that a little loop if it is a little loose, okay, just to make the French braid a little neater. So I tucked it in here and I will continue to tuck it in a little bit more, and I have a few loose hairs here, so I want to get rid of that. I want to use some hair sprays to make sure that I neaten up this French braid. Remember all the loose hairs…I need to neaten them up."
