"Hi! This is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida. If you don’t have a Marcel iron and you want to get a flat iron you can actually use the irons now that are ceramic. And I use them a lot actually; I don’t use my Marcels as often anymore because technology has gotten so good now that we can use these kind of irons and they are very hot. Just like a Marcel iron, we take it to the hair, I am going to make this hair straight again and if I want to get a body to it I can just bring it down like that, okay, but the Marcel iron like I said is hot, the cheap iron are hot now also. You can use them down like this and bring them in the hair giving that look and there are different types of ceramic irons out there okay. So you are just going to bring it down straight down like that and take another section so that you can see and separating the hair and the section, bringing it close to the root and bringing it down like that nice and easy, okay. I want to give it a little body in the bottom and that is fine. There are different sizes of ceramic irons, we also have really large ceramic irons and these ceramic irons here are used for longer and thicker hair. "
