Cutting Curly Hair

"This is Liz Muller with Liz’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and we are talking about curly hair and just as products and special styles are nice and necessary for curly hair, cuts are very important. If you have a certain cut in your hair, it gives it a different look altogether. Curly hair should be cut in certain ways. You can’t cut hair too too short with curly hair because it might get too poofy especially with the styles I just showed you. If you have a lot of layers in there, they might give you a difficult time styling or getting what you want into it you want to make sure you have maybe long layered cut for these styles that I showed you and that you don’t get too much of the thinning out with these thinning shears. Like I said again you want it smooth and you want long layers for this affect. This is for long hair, long curly hair and if you can, maybe you want to cut that hair dry. Maybe you want to ask your stylist to cut it dry so that way it is more even and she can get a better hair cut into the curly hair because curly hair is difficult to cut so find yourself a good stylist that can deal with this curly hair.
